Character first

A reoccurring theme that has hit me the last few days is that building Godly character is by far our first prioritiy for our kids. Don't get me wrong, we will give Parker and Hannah an outstanding education. But having the smartest kids in the world doesn't matter if they don't have a heart for following Jesus as they grow into young adults. No matter what, I know Trina and I are on the same page regarding this priority.
